Our Chiropractors
Dr. Aaron Armbruster has been practicing chiropractic in Oregon for the past 22 years. He has treated hundreds of patients for injuries related to motor vehicle collisions, work injuries, sports injuries, and many more conditions related to the joints, nerves, and muscles of the body.
He is an advanced graduate of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, specializing in whiplash traumatology and mild traumatic brain injuries. Combining a broad base of education with many years of experience, Dr. Armbruster is uniquely positioned to help patients heal from injury and recover the lives they enjoyed prior to these unfortunate events.
Outside of practice Dr. Armbruster enjoys spending time with his family river rafting, snowboarding, and running Mt. Tabor with his friendly dog, Nayla.
Dr. Katz received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree (D.C.) from the University of Western States and has been practicing since 2014. He received a bachelor's degree in Human Biology and a second bachelor's in English and Philosophy. He served with AmeriCorps in Oregon working directly with seasonal/migrant workers and their families.
Dr. Katz offers dynamic chiropractic treatments that are holistic and evidence based giving you more than just symptom relief including adjustments, massage/soft tissue therapy, and physical therapy/rehab. He has special training and experience treating auto injuries, sports injuries, acute and chronic pain, as well as wellness chiropractic care.
Dr. Katz is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys backpacking, fishing and foraging with his wife and son. He is also currently active with strength training, kettlebells, and Yoga. He's an OSU certified organic master gardener and a published author. Dr. Katz is devoted to providing the highest quality treatment and improving the lives of his patients.
Acupuncturists
Lynn is an Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist, and Craniosacral Therapy practitioner who takes an integrated and holistic approach to healing. Her diverse background includes education in Five Element acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and multiple other bodywork modalities that blend together to facilitate energetic movement and provide physical support and pain management.
After becoming a certified massage therapist in 2006, Lynn completed her Masters of Acupuncture in 2018. Her healing practice incorporates the values of acceptance, compassion, safe communication, trust, and non-judgement with all of her clients.
In addition to the above formal training, Lynn has a lifelong meditation and yoga practice, studied Ayurveda and Sanskrit for many years, completed a Fine Arts degree and a Permaculture Design certificate, and has a passion for cooking, learning, and spending time in nature with her dog Rosie. While continuing to deepen and expand her training in the healing arts, she is also studying Spanish and pottery.
Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs)
Tally is highly skilled in deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and PNF techniques (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation).
She is also experienced in chair massage therapy, cupping therapy, Gua Sha (scraping), prenatal massage, sports injury, Swedish relaxation, and trigger point massage techniques.
Tally graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a BS in Psychology in 1994. Her interest in rehabilitative therapies led her to the field of massage. She completed her studies at East West College of the Healing Arts and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2000. Her integrative approach helps people find pain relief and facilitates recovery from acute injuries such as auto accidents and sports injuries, and chronic problems such as headaches, postural imbalances, and muscle tension.
She loves spending time outdoors with family and friends. She is especially proud and inspired by her two beautiful and dynamic daughters.
Melissa has been a licensed massage therapist since 2005 after graduating from East West College of the Healing Arts.
She was inspired to pursue massage school after receiving tremendous pain and tension relief through massage therapy. Melissa decided to dedicate her career to helping others through massage, just as it had helped her.
A massage session with Melissa can include Swedish massage for relaxation and stress relief, deep tissue and myofascial release to help with recovery from injury or tightness in the body.
She is also skilled in abdominal massage, cupping therapy, pregnancy massage, trigger point massage, and highly skilled at Gua Sha (scraping).
Listening to each client's needs is extremely important to Melissa, as she understands that people are unique and prefer to receive care in different ways. She is empathetic and compassionate to others dealing with pain or discomfort and enjoys helping create relief in her patient's body and mind, while increasing their quality of life.
Her outlook on health is holistic. She is passionate about learning, especially in regards to the body and the most effective ways to help the body to relax, heal, gain more mobility, and increase strength.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys gardening and cooking, but most of all, enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Kris specializes in combining Swedish with deep tissue and Myofascial release massage techniques while drawing from detailed anatomical knowledge and a strong intuitive nature.
She has additional training in Ashiatsu deep tissue massage, chair massage therapy, cupping therapy, Gua Sha (scraping, hot stone massage, PNF techniques (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), pregnancy massage, sports injury massage therapy, trigger point massage, and is currently taking classes in energy work.
She is proud to be part of the knowledgeable team at Parkside Clinic and enjoys assisting people in their recovery from motor vehicle accidents just as much as creating space to foster deep, therapeutic relaxation.
Born and raised in Portland, Kris became a massage therapist after attending East West College of the Healing Arts.Studying anatomy, kinesiology, and figure work in both sculpture and drawing at the University of Oregon, where she earned her BA in Fine and Applied Arts in 1992, eventually led her to a career in massage therapy.
When she is not doing massage, she can be found spending time with her son and their 2 cats, cooking, playing music, singing, and watching Blazer basketball.
Rob is a recent graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland. During his training, Rob studied myriad of modalities from around the world.
He is highly skilled in abdominal massage, myofascial release therapy, and trigger point massage.
He is also licensed in chair massage therapy, deep tissue massage, PNF techniques (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), pregnancy massage, sports injury massage therapy, and Swedish relaxation massage.
A recent transplant from New England, Rob spent 11 years as a teacher in New York and Massachusetts.
The skills he developed in the education field have translated into his new passion of bodywork and massage. He uses effective communication to inform his clients about the benefits of regular massage while educating them about structural balance and compensation patterns.
His approach to working with individuals can be described as pragmatic. His passion for healing, dedication to his clients and his training make Rob an effective massage therapist.
Danielle has been practicing massage therapy for 15 years. Danielle is trained in deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, Swedish relaxation, and chair massage. Danielle specializes in deep tissue, with Swedish relaxation massage, while drawing from what the client's needs are. She integrates the different modalities she has learned through the years.
Danielle has spent many years working with clients recovering from auto accidents and injuries. She enjoys both therapeutic and relaxation massage. She is happy to be a team member at Parkside.
Danielle was born and raised in Michigan, while working at U of M hospital she decided to pursue massage therapy. She moved to Portland 20 years ago and became licensed in 2003 after attending Oregon School of Massage. She Loves the Northwest and all it has to offer. When not working, Danielle loves spending time with her husband and their two wonderful sons.
Tracy is a graduate from the National Holistic Institute in San Francisco, CA and has been practicing massage therapy since 2007. Tracy specializes in deep tissue and Swedish while incorporating intuitive elements of Thai massage, table stretching and trigger point work.
She believes that every person requires special, individualized care. While firm pressure is her strength, relaxation and comfort are her goals while giving you the proper care your body needs. Tracy works with a variety of patients including motor vehicle accidents, service industry workers, desk bound professionals & competitive athletes. Individuals who need particular focus on hip related issues, as well as neck & shoulder release are encouraged to pay her a visit.
Outside of work, Tracy enjoys cooking delicious meals at home and exploring the great outdoors with her husband and their dog.
Megan is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts and has been in practice for over 6 years. She specialize in deep tissue, relaxation, myofascial release, cupping, gua sha and pregnancy massage.
Her passion for helping others and her fascination with the human body led her to massage. She is well versed in self care techniques and is dedicated to helping patients find ways to improve their health through achievable goals. Every body is different and she works hard to create individual treatments plans based on her clients needs.
Megan grew up in the Portland area and has lived here most of her life. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, especially in her garden. During the winter months she loves to curl up in front of the fire with a good book.
